# Limits

We allow you to set up a maximum ceiling on the discounts through the following methods.

1. Limit on the number of line items that can get the discount
2. Limit on the Quantity of items that get the discount
3. Limit on the Maximum amount that a discount can offer. (Beta)

You can set up these limits on a per config level or on the entire function level. This allows users maximum flexibility in how they want to limit discount abuse.
