Connect Shopify Flow

Use Shopify Flow to follow up on wholesale applications and approvals.

Use Flow for follow-up actions when a buyer submits an application or you review it. For example, notify your team when an application arrives.

To create customers and add pricing tags on approval, use the form's built-in automations. You do not need Flow for that setup.

Create a workflow

  1. Open Shopify Flow and create a workflow.

  2. Choose a Dollarlabs B2B trigger from the table below.

  3. Add a condition to select the form or submissions the workflow should handle. Form Submitted includes a Form ID you can match to your form.

  4. Add the follow-up action, such as notifying your team.

  5. Save and turn on the workflow.

Trigger
Runs when
Example use

Form Submitted

A buyer submits an application

Notify the team that reviews applications

Form Approved

You approve an application

Notify your sales team about a new trade account

Form Rejected

You reject an application

Start a follow-up process

Use the fields available under the selected trigger when setting conditions and actions. Custom form answers are not necessarily separate Flow fields. See trigger fields.

Test the workflow

Submit a test application. If your workflow uses Form Approved or Form Rejected, make that decision in the app. Then check the workflow's run history and confirm the action completed.

For an approved buyer, also check the customer tag in Shopify and sign in to confirm the expected price.

A submission is not an approval. Keep trade pricing tags on the approval step if you review applications before granting access.
