Draft orders and orders created in Admin
Apply customer pricing when your team creates an order in Shopify Admin.
Taking an order by phone or email? You can apply the buyer's Dollarlabs pricing to a Shopify draft order. Enable automatic discounts on the draft before you send an invoice or take payment.
Creating the draft alone does not apply those discounts. Shopify provides a separate option for this. See Shopify's draft-order discount instructions.
Check first, then charge. Selecting a customer alone does not enable automatic discounts.
Before you start
Enable the price list in Dollarlabs and finish saving or importing your prices. Check Jobs & history if an update is still processing.
Use the right customer. For tag-specific pricing, select a customer with the matching pricing tag. Default pricing can apply without that tag, according to your configuration.
Add products from your catalog. Choose the priced variant. A custom line item with the same name does not carry that variant's Dollarlabs rules.
Apply the price
Enable automatic discounts
Under Payment, select Add discount. Check Apply all eligible automatic discounts, then select Done.
This includes other eligible automatic discounts in your store. Check your discount combination settings and avoid adding the same discount again manually.
Example: two pads at a wholesale price
Suppose a pad's catalog price is $10, its Wholesale price is $8, and no other discount applies.
2 pads at the catalog price
$20
Dollarlabs discount for the Wholesale customer
β$4
Product subtotal after discount
$16
Tax and shipping are separate. Your saved prices and the draft's discount breakdown determine the actual amount.
If the expected price is missing
Check the draft's automatic-discount option, the selected customer's tags, the exact variant, the saved rule and quantity, and whether the price list is active. Then check for other discounts affecting the result.
The option to accept discount codes at invoice checkout is a separate setting. This guide covers pricing a draft before it becomes an order; it does not reprice an already completed order.
