Set up wholesale pricing
Add customer prices, quantity rules and wholesale ordering to your existing Shopify products.
Start with the products already in your Shopify store. Configure one customer price, check it as that buyer, then add the quantity rules and ordering tools your business needs.
Keep your Shopify catalog prices, products, collections and theme.
Before you start
Choose one product variant and a test customer. Install Dollarlabs: Wholesale & B2B Pricing and let the app sync your existing catalog. If you already use the app, keep your working rules and choose a small test change. Export a backup before changing existing prices, and duplicate your theme before editing its layout.
Set up and check each part
Give one customer a trade price
Follow the quick start to select or add a customer-tag column, enter one price, save, and enable the price list. Add the matching tag to your test customer and check the result on the product page, in the cart and at checkout.
For example, a product can keep its $10 Shopify catalog price while an approved wholesale customer pays $8. Enter your agreed wholesale price for the variant you chose.

Choose customer groups and pricing methods
Use customer tags and columns for groups that receive different prices. Compare a signed-out shopper with each tagged test customer. Configure Default only when you want a fallback price for shoppers without a matching customer column.
Then choose an exact price, percentage discount or fixed amount off for each offer. Save and check the result before adding more rules.
Add quantity rules where they help
Use volume tiers to lower the unit price when buyers order more. Use case quantities for products sold in packs, and loose-unit pricing when incomplete cases are allowed.
Keep minimum quantities and stock separate: the minimum is the smallest order you accept, the case size controls allowed quantities, and stock limits what you can supply. Test just below and at each boundary.
Show prices and help buyers order
Configure the product-page blocks and collection pricing in your existing theme. Check that price labels say whether the amount is per item or per case, and that quantity messages explain what the buyer needs to change.
Add a quick-order form if buyers often order several products together. Review the selected variants, quantities and total on desktop and mobile. Place order replaces the previous storefront cart with the formβs order and takes the buyer to checkout.
Connect applications to customer access
Build a wholesale application form, add it to a page, and choose your approval and tagging rules.
A submission, review decision, customer tag and sign-in are separate steps. Test an approved applicant and a rejected applicant. Add Shopify Flow only if your process needs extra follow-up actions.
Check the complete buying journey
Run the launch checklist using the prices and rules you have configured. Test guest and customer prices, quantity limits, signup, received emails and a completed test checkout.
If staff take orders in Shopify Admin, check automatic discounts on a draft order with the right customer selected. This Admin workflow does not require a pricing API integration.
Keep the intended settings. Clear test carts and undo temporary test changes when you finish.
Optional developer work
The standard app blocks support the merchant setup above. Use the storefront SDK when a developer is building a custom display or cart.
For an ERP or PIM integration, follow the API key and pricing API guides after confirming API access for your store. This is separate from setting prices in the app or creating orders in Shopify Admin.
For case-aware purchasing controls, see Add to cart button.
