Launch checklist

Check your configured customer prices, quantities, signup and checkout before offering them to buyers.

Test the pricing you configured on your existing products before offering it to buyers. Use a test customer, an empty cart and your intended storefront setup. Check these on desktop and mobile:

  • Guest prices: Sign out. Confirm the catalog or Default prices and add a product to the cart.

  • Customer prices: Sign in with each pricing tag you use. Check the product price, cart total and checkout discount.

  • Volume discounts: Test just below and at each quantity threshold.

  • Cases and minimums: Try full cases, extra units and quantities below the minimum. Check that prices and validation messages match your rules.

  • Stock limits: Try ordering more than the available stock. Confirm the message explains how to correct the quantity.

  • Quick order: If you use an order form, build an order, review its variants and quantities, then choose Place order and check checkout. This replaces any previous storefront cart contents with the form’s order.

  • Wholesale applications: Submit, approve and reject test applications. Check submission status, customer tags and received emails separately, then sign in as each test buyer to verify access.

  • Shopify Flow: If you use automation, inspect the matching run and resulting customer record. Applying a tag does not by itself mark an application approved.

  • Checkout: Complete a test order. Check its totals and confirmation email.

  • Orders created in Admin: Select a tagged customer and existing catalog products, enable automatic discounts on the draft, and check the total before completing it. Ordinary Admin drafts do not need a pricing API integration.

If a result is wrong, use Troubleshooting before offering the setup to buyers. Keep the prices and rules you intend to use; remove test data and undo only temporary test changes. Leave test orders unfulfilled and cancel them where appropriate.
