# Subscription platforms

Shopify doesn't apply store credit to subscription renewals on its own: credit is spent at checkout, and a renewal doesn't go through checkout. Bridging that gap is up to the subscription app, so whether your customers can spend their cashback on renewals depends on which one you run.

Two are supported today. Both are listed on **DollarBack admin → Integrations**, under **Subscriptions**, with a **Supported** badge.

{% hint style="info" %}
**There is nothing to configure in DollarBack for either one.** DollarBack's job is to put store credit on the customer's Shopify account; the subscription app's job is to spend it. So keep earning programs running as normal, and do the integration work in the other app.
{% endhint %}

## If you use a different subscription app

Your customers can still earn cashback on subscription orders — that side is just ordinary order processing. What they can't do is spend it on a renewal, because nothing applies the balance at that moment. They can still spend credit on any normal checkout.

If your platform adds Shopify store credit support, it should work with DollarBack without changes on our side; tell us through the in-app chat and we'll add it here.
